FAQ'sDo you have any particular criteria when you choose to take up an assignment? How do you decide whom to work with? Most of the clients who approach me are people who have seen or heard of my style of photography through friends or social media. There is a simple criteria before I take up any assignment, I meet with the couple and have an honest discussion about their vision, their aspirations for their wedding photographs, I share with them my previous works, my methods and we come to a common ground about how we would work together. In course of such a conversation it usually becomes easier to understand if we would be the right fit. We then take it forward. Do you travel for destination weddings?I love to travel. Let me know where you are and we’ll figure out the best way to get me out to you. Do you edit all the images?Yes. Every image I deliver is post produced with my unique style of postproduction. This involves exposure adjustment, color correction, selective black and white processing, tone-mapping, clarity adjustments, and other corrections. I try to make it as flawless. Do you provide the RAW files from my engagement session and/or wedding day? Each of my packages comes with a full resolution image DVD. However, I do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because I believe in delivering a finished product. Do you photograph details and family group photos?Yes! A wedding photography collection is incomplete without good details and family photos. Having said that I would expect cooperation from you and your family members, to put in effort of coming together as a family. As weddings can get chaotic and who better to know your family then you. Thank you for the effort in advance. Do you take getting-ready shots? These are some of my favorite photographs to capture. They come out to be as few of the best shoots in the series. I like the calm and quite around the bride. It able me to capture her beauty to utmost. My fiancé and me are uncomfortable having his picture taken. How can you help us on the wedding day?My team along with me are all very calm, cooperative people who tend to blend into the scene rather than bring attention to ourselves. Combined with our documentary style, you both will get used to us within the first half hour of your getting-ready time. The only time you’ll really be aware of the cameras is during the family group shots and the creative portraits, and during this time I will guide you through everything. You can just be yourselves. When should we do the wedding portraits? This is mostly up to you, but I strongly advice before the ceremony. As it allows you to check one more thing off the day’s to-do list early on and, more importantly, you are at your best and freshest. How long before we see the final pictures?Because I take such care in making sure all your edited photographs look great for years to come, it usually takes about 6-8 weeks to get them completed. I can promise it is worth every second. We would like you to shoot my wedding, how do we start the process?Reach me via firstname.lastname@example.org, along with your wedding date, function details, guest head-count and venue, if secured. If possible, I would like to meet you both in person so you can get to know your future photographer and can ask me things you require. What are your payment terms?Once you’ve decided to choose me as your photographer, you will need to places a deposit of 50%. That secures your dates with me. Rest of the payment needs to be paid on the final day of the shoot. How far should we book in advance?Typically 6-8 months in advance as soon as you have a date and venue. Or. Check with me for availability.
